Setting Up CloudPRNT with Your Star Printer


This guide will help you configure your Star printer to work with our CloudPRNT system for automatic order printing.


Step 1: Find Your Printer's IP Address


Option 1: Print Network Status

  1. Turn on your Star printer
  2. Hold down the FEED button for 3-5 seconds until the printer starts printing
  3. The printer will print a network status page showing the IP address


Option 2: Check Your Router

  • Log into your router's admin panel and look for connected devices
  • Look for a device named with your printer model


Step 2: Access Your Printer's Web Interface


  1. Open a web browser on a device connected to the same network
  2. Go to http://[printer-ip-address] (replace with your actual IP address)
  3. Log in to the printer's admin interface
  • Default credentials are usually printed on the printer or in the manual
  • Common defaults: admin/admin or root/cloudline


Step 3: Configure CloudPRNT Settings


  1. Navigate to CloudPRNT or Cloud Services in the printer menu
  2. Configure the following settings:
  • CloudPRNT Service: Set to ENABLE
  • Server URL: Enter the server URL from your Cloudline printer queue
  • Password: Enter the password from your Cloudline printer queue
  • User Name: Enter cloudline
  • Polling Time: Set to 2 seconds (recommended)
  1. Click Submit
  2. Click Save & Restart to apply changes

Step 4: Test Your Setup


  1. Create a test order using your Cloudline visitor app
  2. Accept the order in your system
  3. Your printer should automatically print the order within 2-5 seconds
