Activity Tags are a powerful feature that can help you personalise and organise your site's offerings. This short article will help you get started with Cloudline's terminology and what to expect after completing your onboarding.

Operators

An Operator refers to your user account you've created during this sign up process. As an Operator, you have access to manage your Site and it's Activities and settings.

Sites

A Site is the place where your business takes place, which has many activities. For example, a theme park would be a site with each of its rides and restaurants being Activities.

Activities

An Activity is something that your Guests partake in at your Site. One Site can have many Activities, and they currently fit into 4 different categories:

Restaurant activities provide a full F&B management system for restaurants, cafes and other food-based establishments. Guests will be able to order and pay for food and drinks from the Guest App.
Session activities provide a full session and booking management system for rides, attractions and paid events. Guests will be able to book and pay for sessions from the Guest App.
Event activities are for general events that happen at your Site which don't require a booking. Guests will be able to add the event to their in-app calendar.
Points of Interest are a simple way for Guests to learn more about your on-site experiences.

Team mode vs Solo mode

User modes

When an order is accepted, it is automatically assigned to the Operator who is signed in. By default, the Servery view is in Team mode, which displays all orders for a restaurant. In Solo mode, only the orders belonging to the assigned Operator are displayed. Operators can toggle between the two modes by pressing the Team mode button in the top navigation bar. This is useful for Operators who want to filter out their assigned orders during busy periods.

Reassigning orders

From the detailed order sidebar, operators can easily reassign orders to different team members. By selecting an order, you will see both the operator currently assigned and a dropdown list of available operators for reassignment. Orders can also be marked as Unassigned, which is the default state for orders which have been auto-accepted.

How to change your bank details

This article will cover how to change the bank account linked to your Stripe connect account which receives payouts. First, you'll need to access your Stripe dashboard via the Cloudline corporate app. You can find the link in the payments settings in your site:

To see your Stripe details, you'll need the phone attached to the account to enter a passcode which is sent to you via SMS. Once on the dashboard, click the profile icon in the top right hand corner.

On that page you should be able to see a list of Payout Details. When selecting an item from the list a sidebar will pop up, which will show the active payout account you're currently using. By clicking the edit button in the top right hand corner, you'll be able to enter the IBAN for your new bank account.

Adding tax to your menu items

This article will show you how to add inclusive tax rates to your menu items. First, you will need to create a new tax rate from the site settings page. From there, click Generate Tax Rate on the Tax Rates tab.

Tax Rates After generating a new tax rate, you're ready to attach it to a menu item. In your restaurant activity, select a menu item when in the menu tab. You can select the tax rate you'd like to attach by heading to the pricing section:

Pricing Additionally, you can apply a single tax rate to multiple items at once by clicking the dropdown icon when viewing a category or variant group.
